Our Accutron Spaceview repair services include thoroughly cleaning and regulating vintage electronic tuning fork movements with complete disassembly/re-assembly, proper lubrication for the various points of the movement with state-of-the-art materials, new OEM gaskets, new battery, polishing all pivots, plates, and screws, etc.  This base service also includes the labor involved in replacing any worn or damaged parts at no additional charge.  We'll also ultrasonically clean and polish your case and/or bracelet.

We charge No Additional FEES for restoration of individual case backs, pushers, crowns or battery door components.  Our case restoration service is "all inclusive".   We also offer many types of case repair and re-plating services, and authentic Accutron Spaceview crystal replacements and all factory-correct new/old stock components, or newly manufactured factory parts.  As the only Bulova authorized service provider for vintage Accutron Repair, we're able to offer many authentic components not offered elsewhere.  We professionally handle all types of restoration projects, with over 65 (combined) years of experience.

Old Father Time is recommended by Bulova for repair of their vintage watches including the famous Accutron Spaceview repair, Astronaut and all their tuning fork models.  We have a full staff of watchmakers as well as a jeweler.  Each is a highly skilled and Certified or Master watchmaking professional.   All have received specific Accutron repair training from Bulova Corporation's Accutron watchmaking repair instructor.  In addition, each of our watchmakers attend continuing education classes either at AWCI or WOSTEP in Switzerland.  This is essential in staying abreast of new technologies and advances in the field.

Packing & Shipping
Pack your Spaceview in a box that's about 10" X 7" X 4" in size, (a bit smaller than a shoe box), or a size not easily lost by the carrier.  We recommend wrapping the item in bubble-wrap, and then packing in styrofoam peanuts or void air bags.

USPS Registered Mail, Insured is a very safe method of shipment.    We don't recommend using UPS.  Click HERE to see why.

Within 1 - 2 business days of receipt, we'll notify you with a detailed, written estimate of repair.  We'll then wait for your approval before proceeding.

Our $65 Estimate Fee includes a detailed, WRITTEN evaluation of needed repairs, and return shipping and insurance by Federal Express (not Priority Mail).  If, after obtaining your approval, we perform the repairs we've recommended, the

As the largest Accutron and Accutron Spaceview repair facility in the U.S., turnaround time can vary depending on a number of factors including complexity, parts availability, and the number of repairs currently in progress.  Our current turnaround time is 3 - 5 weeks.  Your patience is always appreciated!

Spaceview Repair Warranty
Unless otherwise stated, Accutron Spaceview Repairs are warranted, to our customers, for timekeeping, for a period of six months from the date of original repair. While perfection is always our goal, no warranties are, or can be, made regarding achieving the accuracy standards of timekeeping asserted by the original manufacturers when these watches were NEW. Timekeeping is adjusted as originally prescribed by the manufacturer at the time of return shipment to the customer, and has been found to be consistent for at least 7 days prior to shipment.  However, it is mutually understood that vintage Accutron Spaceview watches are now antiques. As with any finer timepiece, and as is clearly stated in the Spaceview Manufacturer's literature, adjustments to timekeeping ARE SOMETIMES necessary after any repair or overhaul and while the watch adjusts to the owner's normal use.  We've found that adjustments can also be required after  "rough shipping".  New problems can also arise after the initial repair is performed .   We will, therefore, make timekeeping adjustments to Accutron Spaceview watches throughout the warranty period as needed, however, our warranty does not apply to wear and tear, abuse, or tampering, and excludes batteries, case, strap or bracelet, crystals, electronic coils and return shipping costs.
